It is interesting how we meet people that make a positive impact in our life path often without great fanfare. Today was my last workout with Coach James at Copper Moose Fitness. I have never been a big fan of working out but I have come to appreciate the importance of taking care of yourself physically and mentally. Actually, the physical part has gone really well with James but the mental aspect is still a work in progress. What I have learned is that the physical part greatly impacts the mental part. You get lost in the moment when you are trying to do a new exercise or lift more weight. It washes away most of your thoughts when you are pushing yourself to achieve more. James has been my spirit guide for more than two years. I am incredibly thankful for his patience and encouragement during that period of time. Also, thank you to Coach Joseph for seeing the ability, drive, and mental strength in James that allowed him to excel.
I know that this may not sound like something earth-shattering but in our daily lives it is important to have guides that can steer us right or wrong. It is humbling to let others lead us and grow from their guidance and direction but it is a life lesson that is important to learn. Best wishes and much success in your next step James!
